Spring programme for KPC

There’s lots of stuff going on in March and April at Kinning Park Complex: music, art, films, workshops, dancing, an Easter fete and a kids’ holiday programme. Check out the calendar for full information, or pick up one of our new pamphlets (designed by Kenneth Wilson).

Otherwise than Music

“A monthly workshop for improvised music. Open to anyone with an interest in improvisation as an experimental music form, anyone who is interested in listening carefully and thinking about sound making in a potentially large group context. There will also be some talking. We don’t have any funding, and we’re not planning on doing public performances. The plan is to focus on experimenting and learning how to do things differently.”

Glasgow Open Dance School (G.O.D.S) workshop

Come to a day of beginners’ West African drum, dance and lunch!

Facilitated by G.O.D.S and led by Sens Sagna and Paul Dear of Rythymbridge.

G.O.D.S provides a space where people can learn, teach and partake in movement-related workshops for free. G.O.D.S values feeling rather than style or technique and encourages shared learning and collective movement above individual excellence.

G.O.D.S facilitates monthly workshops in and around Glasgow.
