Our Community Projects

The KPC Garden is for the community, maintained by volunteers and local residents. We run regular workshops and classes including bicycle maintenance and an annual grow your own vegetables course. Projects are posted here on the website, keep track of whats happening across our facebook and twitter pages.

March 2016: We are delighted to announced that KPC has recieved funding from Scottish Government’s Climate Challenge Fund. A space for change is a project to cut local carbon emissions through reducing the amount of textile and food waste that ends up in landfill.  The project will re-distribute waste supermarket food from the Fairshare scheme and develop a community garden and textile bank.  Additional activities include a workshop and education programme covering gardening, upcycling, textile reuse and ways to cut food waste.
