We have two large halls available for hire which are suitable for a wide range of groups and activities. The halls have big windows that flood the halls with natural light, or black-out material is available if required.

The halls are suitable for use for

  • Community groups
  • Theatre companies
  • Dance and other physical activities
  • Public meetings
  • Music workshops
  • Art work displays
  • … and other events.

 

Hall A is on the ground floor. It is 108 square metres (14.7 m long by 7.4 m wide) and has an additional kitchen area attached.

Hall B is on the first floor. It is 131 square metres (1.7 m long by 7.6 m wide)

We can offer:

  • Affordable rates. Our hall hire rates vary depending on the  specific needs. Our general rule is that we want the halls to be used and we dont want money to be a barrier to people using them so email or give us a call and we can discuss it. Meantime to give an idea of our hall hire rates on average they start at £10 per hour,  full day rate £70 – based on 8 hrs, weekend £140 based on 16hrs or week rates £350 based on 40 hrs. Thats for basic use where we dont require to provide staffing and where you clean up after yourself.  £20 an hour is the average when staffing or additional cleaning is required.
  • Halls can be booked for one-off events, for regular classes or when available they can be block booked for a period of weeks (e.g. for theatre companies seeking rehearsal space).
  • Free on street parking with easy loading. 24/7 access when it is required. Good transport links – Opposite Kinning Park underground station, on main bus route, close to cycle routes and easy access on/off the M8.

The Complex also houses 14 studios and offices all of which are currently occupied by a variety of artists, musicians and community groups who share the aims of KPC and who help keep the complex running. There is a waiting list if you want to apply for a studio or office when one becomes available.
