VISION
Our vision for the Kinning Park Complex is to be owned by the community, providing facilities and services developed and governed by the community for its community.
We are working towards becoming a fully member led organisation which will give those who use the centre and live locally more control over what we do.

OUR STORY
Our home is an old red sandstone building built in 1916 as an addition to Lambhill Street Primary School. In 1976 the building was converted into the Kinning Park Neighbourhood Centre run by the council.
Local residents and supporters had to fight to keep their much loved community centre open in 1996 due to council cuts.Their determination and passion is the reason Kinning Park Complex exists today as an independently run organisation.
Our newly formed Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) was founded in 2018. The next steps for KPC are to create membership scheme that allows people to be involved in and have say in how our building is run. That and the must awaited purchase and renovation of the Kinning Park Complex.
