About the Event

KPC

We are so excited to honour and celebrate KPC's history with our new permanent exhibition!

Our building has a vibrant history - from it's original use as a school, to the sit-in and consequent vibrant community hub. With generous loans of photos from the Protests and Suffragette archive, we are pleased to have installed a permanent exhibition on the second and fourth floors of KPC, showing photos of key moments from our history alongside amazing community and handmade banners.
On the fourth floor we are also showing the amazing work of our three artists who have studios in KPC - Iman Tajik, Douglas Findlay, and Lisa DeBruine.

This exhibition is accessible during our opening hours aswell as Saturdays in May from 2-4pm. Ongoing at the same time on Saturdays is our oral history drop-ins - please let our volunteers know if you have any memories you'd like to share!

Thank you so much to our artists, and Helen Kyle and Protests and Suffragettes for the contributions to this exhibition.
