Join us!

This is an exciting opportunity for personal development for individuals with the appropriate skills and knowledge and will offer the chance to gain experience in governance and strategy. You will gain knowledge of working in a member-led organisation and contribute to developing KPC as a community-owned and led asset and space for the local area.

Our board members should reside in the G51 or G41 postcode areas however exceptions can be made to fill skills gaps as outlined in the role description below. We are keen for people engaged in KPC and the local area to join as board trustees to bring a range of different perspectives and experience.

New Beginnings

The Kinning Park Complex Board has decided to implement a transitional structure in light of financial and structural challenges the organisation has faced over the past couple of years. In light of this, the KPC board is proposing that we look at 2023 and 2024 as a period of recovery and transition.

Membership

KPC is a membership organisation with 80% of our members living in the local area with postcodes of  G41, G51 or G5. We would like our board membership to reflect this ratio and would be particularly interested to hear from people living or working in these postcode areas.

We are committed to equality of opportunity for all and applications from individuals are encouraged regardless of age, gender, transgender status, disability, sexual orientation, marital, parental status or caring responsibilities, ethnic or racial origin, or class background. We are particularly interested in working with individuals from identity groups historically underrepresented on Boards.
