Community meal for those working in grassroots organising & community work to have a space to decompress & chill. At Kin Kitchen we use food as a vehicle for resistance and community building, we want to create spaces of care and support as they are essential for our collective resilience.

When: every 3rd Sunday of the month - next one 21st June
Where: Kinning Park Complex
Time: 1-3.30pm
The event:
Creative activity (from 1pm): collage & crafting table, puzzles & games
Head & shoulder massage with Eleni! 1-2.00, then 3.00-3.30
Food (served at 2pm): Grilled veggies & summery salads
Food is vegan/veggie/gluten free - give us a shout if you've got any dietary requirements and we'll do our best to accommodate
bring a container for leftovers
Access:
Fully wheelchair accessible venue
Travel budget for those needing it - please email before or ask at the meal
Kids welcome
Prayer/quiet room in the building
Gender neutral toilets / baby changing

Feel free to pass this on, but please don’t share on social media/large WhatsApp groups as we only have capacity for 60 folks. These meals are currently funded and free to attend, but contributions will mean we can make them self sustaining. It's not essential to book a ticket, but it gives us a good idea of numbers.
