This relaxed, friendly class is a chance to express yourself, try something new and have fun in a supportive setting! Each week you’ll create something different, with all materials provided.

Every week our keen group of garden volunteers get together to work on and learn in our community garden and outdoor space. Each week the group works on something different, from growing food and plants to attending workshops on composting and herbal medicine.

As part of our 55-day festival we will be collecting stories of our organisation, of the building, and of the local area. Drop-in and tell your memories and stories to our oral history volunteers, preserving them for the Community Land Scotland digital archive.

Any memory of the building or local area is important for us to collect - whether you remember the sit-in, or went to an event you really loved, or attended the building when it was a school - we want to hear it all!

Our Community Meals run on a Monday every two weeks! The first meal of the 55 day celebration will be Monday the 4th of May.

The meal runs from 11:30am to 2:00pm, with hot drinks from 11.30am and food served around noon.

Caledonian Wildcats run weekly tabletop gaming sessions every Wednesday from 6pm–10pm at Kinning Park Complex. We provide a welcoming and inclusive space for people 16+ to enjoy a wide range of tabletop games.

Join us for another edition of Southside SOUP, a community gathering of good causes, good food and good people. This event is about neighbours getting together to connect with one another, and support grassroots ideas and projects in the Southside of Glasgow.

Join us for our Social Entrepreneur Networking for Women. This event is for women who are starting or running their own social impact organisation or project. It is a great chance to meet others, share ideas, and learn from each other.

This award winning film captures the moment in May 2021,when a UK Home Office dawn raid trigged one of the most spontaneous and successful acts of civil resistance in recent memory. In Pollokshields, Scotland’s most diverse neighbourhood, hundreds of residents rush to the streets to stop the deportation of their neighbours. We are delighted to screen it as part of our programme celebrating KPC’s own activist history!

Walking football is designed to give you the chance to play the game you love but reduce the chances of injury. It’s a great way to keep fit, learn skills, have fun and socialise at the same time!

Come and join our “Story Cafe” organised by The Village Storytelling Centre. Participants are invited to listen to a story told by our storytellers and to share their own.

This session, delivered by Community Ownership Support Service (COSS) and Development Trusts Association of Scotland (DTAS), will give you an overview of the history of community ownership in Scotland and a snapshot of the current environment.

Kinning Park Community Council, along with local residents, will be doing community consultation about the parks local to the KPC.

The Caledonian Wildcats KPC 30th Anniversary Open Day is designed to be fully accessible and beginner-friendly, with no booking required. We’ll be running free beginner coaching sessions for Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar, alongside open gaming tables for those who want to try a game.

Join us for screenings of two short documentaries following the rich history of women's activism in and around Glasgow! We're delighted to have the opportunity to show these films, which cover the 1981 Lee Jeans sit-in in Greenock and the 1915 Glasgow rent strike.

Join us for the launch of the exhibition The Subtle Body, an exhibition at KPC as part of Glasgow International 2026. This is a chance for friends, family, and the public to toast the opening and celebrate together.

Drop in cycling session between 2-4pm for Women, Non binary people and their kids. We will have adult bikes plus balance bikes and kids bikes for under 5s. We will also have kids seats and trailers available to try.

The Subtle Body, 2026, brings into conversation the archives of artists Katy Dove (1970–2015) and Lygia Clark (1920–1988) to explore their mutual occupation with bodily knowledge and the subconscious.

This workshop is a legal briefing for activists in Scotland, covering important topics such as interactions with the police, your rights in ‘stop & search’ situations, and how we can best support ourselves and each other at protests and actions.

Shaping Tomorrow: Music, Meals & Many Cultures is part of Refugee Festival Scotland. It is a collaboration between Inclusive Homework Club, Unity Sisters, My Academic Family, and Kinning Park Complex that celebrates the many cultures that make up our local community.

Expect food, community, organising, and tenant power.

Living Rent is Scotland's tenants and community union.

We are a mass-membership union of tenants, carers, workers and residents, rooted in working-class struggle. We organise collectively to build the power to secure material improvements to our daily lives and put power back where it belongs: in the hands of ordinary people.

We build this power to fight for better rights and better protections against rent increases, evictions, lack of public services, high energy bills, pollution and poor-quality housing. We know our current political system is failing ordinary people and we refuse to wait for politicians or charities to change things for the better.

We will organise across every aspect of our lives to win what we deserve.
