Looking Ahead: Our Updated Strategy
Hello, Lindsey (Chair of the Board of Trustees) here with a small blog to accompany the launch of our new strategy!
We’ve updated our strategy to help guide us over the next 3 years, building on everything that makes Kinning Park Complex such a special place.
Our updated Vision is “A place where everyone collaborates to nurture a just and empowered community” and our updated Mission is “To cultivate spaces shaped by the community to advance wellbeing and social change, through learning, creativity and collective action” reflects what we believe in: bringing people together, creating opportunities and making positive change happen.
Our work will also be guided by our new 3 core values: Collective, Collaborative and Creative. These mean supporting one another, working together to achieve more, and finding imaginative ways to tackle challenges and create opportunities.
Over the next 3 years, we'll be focusing on five key priorities:
Grow our active members / grow membership numbers
Generate more income from building activities and rely less on funders
Improve fundraising, marketing & communications, people (HR) and operations strategies
Increase community and building user engagement
Create and implement a plan to reach Net Zero emissions
Our strategy is a commitment to making Kinning Park Complex the best it can be for everyone who uses, supports and cares about our building.
